Men's Soccer continues winning streak

College of St. Joseph's Men's Soccer team traveled to NHTI, defeating the Lynx 1-0 yesterday.

Dominick Simpson scored the game winning goal in the 21st minute of play off a beautiful cross pass from Rosyvelt Baessa. CSJ's defense stayed strong for the remainder of the game and was able to fend off NHTI's attack until the final whistle blew.

CSJ goalkeeper Kyle Milligan deserves much of the credit for his stellar play at net. He played a perfect game, saving all eight shots that came his way. The Lynx were aggressive and attacking throughout the match, but they could not find a way to get the ball past Milligan.

The Fighting Saints are now 4-4 overall and starting to find their groove. After a tough start to the season, CSJ has finally locked in and looks to be a force in the Yankee Small College Conference.
